Jornadas contra la violencia institucional

El 20 de agosto se desarrollaron las Jornadas Institucionales por los 21 años de la desaparición de Miguel, en la Sede Néstor Carlos Kirchner de la Facultad de Periodismo y Comunicación Social de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata.
“La lucha es siempre colectiva”
La primera propuesta fue coordinada por el Secretario de Derechos Humanos de la Facultad, Jorge Jaunarena y encabezada por Rosa Bru y Pablo Morosi, que presentó su libro “¿Dónde está Miguel? Caso Bru: un desaparecido en democracia”. El periodista contó cómo fue la investigación y el seguimiento del caso de Miguel. “Los casos hay que seguirlos siempre, aunque no estemos cubriéndolos. Ese es el compromiso que permite luego poder contarlo, a través de un libro como este”.
Más tarde se desarrolló una charla sobre “El empoderamiento político en la búsqueda de justicia. Los modos de defensa contra la violencia institucional en los barrios\\\”, en el que madres de víctimas de la violencia institucional relataron cada una de sus experiencias de lucha contra la impunidad. El panel estuvo conformado por Rosa Schonfeld de Bru, Dolores Sigampa de Demonty, madre de Ezequiel Demonty; Miriam Medina, madre de Sebastián Bordón; Gumersinda Giménez, madre de Judith Giménez; y Ema María Valdez, madre de Mariano Arias; además de Juan Manuel Morente, abogado de la Asociación Miguel Bru, patrocinante en la causa que investiga la muerte de Omar Cigarán.
Estas madres se conocen de la lucha y- excepto Ema María Valdez- porque trabajan juntas en el Programa Nacional de Lucha contra la Impunidad de la Secretaría de Derechos Humanos del Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos de la Nación, creado en el año 2003, por Néstor Kirchner. Justamente Dolores Sigampa recordó las palabras del Ex Presidente cuando fueron convocadas. “Nos dijo que él veía que dónde apretás sale pus. Es muy importante que desde el Estado se haya creado este programa”- resaltó.
En la mesa se habló de la lucha contra el estigma y la discriminación que sufrieron sus hijos e hijas “por ser pobres, por ser jóvenes, por ser morochos”. Las prácticas actuales de la violencia institucional argentina son herencia de una historia de dictaduras y totalitarismo. Gumersinda contó que a su hija Judith, una joven que asistía al 3er año de la escuela secundaria en el Colegio Padre Mugica de la Vila 31 la asesinó un miembro de la Gendarmería Nacional. “El asesino de mi hija es nieto e hijo de un militar, con la cabeza preparada para matar, hijo de los responsables del genocidio argentino”. En la misma línea, Miriam Medina remarcó que Hugo Ramón Trentini, el asesino de su hijo Sebastián, actualmente está siendo investigado por crímenes de lesa humanidad. También los ex policías Abrigo y López, dos de los asesinos de Miguel Bru, fueron formados desde los 20 años en la policía de Ramón Camps y el comisario Ojeda, también sentenciado en la causa, estuvo vinculado con el centro clandestino de detención que funcionaba en la comisaría 5ª de La Plata durante la última dictadura.
“La lucha es siempre colectiva. Somos madres que luchan”- dijo Miriam Bordón. Todas ellas encabezan actualmente proyectos para el cambio social. Dolores Demonty abrió un comedor en Mataderos, Miriam una casita rincón maternal en Moreno, Gumercinda un merendero en la Villa 31, Rosa Bru la Asociación Miguel Bru. “Así es como seguimos. Por la vida, y en la lucha para que ningún pibe muera en manos de las fuerzas de seguridad”.
Juan Manuel Morente, abogado de la Asociación Miguel Bru, actualmente lleva adelante la causa que se investiga por la muerte de Omar Cigarán. Contó el estado de la causa y la lucha contra la violencia institucional y sus prácticas sistemáticas. “Hoy la policía se autogobierna, regula el juego, las drogas, la prostitución. No es posible que siga siendo la misma policía la que investiga las causas donde está involucrado personal de la fuerza, asegurando la complicidad y la impunidad”. Además, Morente habló sobre connivencia judicial y aclaró que “no queremos venganza, sino verdad y el reconocimiento de las víctimas como tales. Hay un compromiso social de cambiar las instituciones de seguridad, tenemos que trabajar mucho en eso.”
Desde la comunicación
Al termino de estas exposiciones, comenzó el panel “El rol del comunicador frente a los hechos de violencia Institucional” en el que disertaron el diputado nacional Leonardo Grosso, Rosa Schonfeld de Bru, y los periodistas y miembros de la Asociación, Cristian Alarcón y María Eugenia Ludueña.
Leonardo Grosso, diputado nacional por FPV y encargado de abrir el panel sostuvo que “uno de los problemas de la violencia institucional tiene que ver directamente con la comunicación y la construcción de los hechos que hacen los medios” y agregó que “en cada uno de los casos de Gatillo Fácil la prensa tiende a construir la imagen de los Pibes Chorros y la idea de que vivimos en un contexto de inseguridad, que son `ellos o nosotros´ y entonces si la policía los mata está justificado”. Grosso resaltó que el tema de la seguridad “es demasiado complejo para dejarlo sólo en manos de la policía y no la inseguridad no se resuelve con tendencias punitivistas”.
En este sentido el periodista Cristian Alarcón, miembro fundador de la Asociación Bru y docente de la casa de estudios, señaló que es “fundamental incorporar, como periodistas, el concepto de territorio porque es la policía la que organiza el espacio urbano y suburbano” y añadió que dos desafíos para los periodistas de investigación radican en “preguntarse cómo deconstruir el discurso de la policía y en propiciar la relación entre la investigación periodística y la investigación judicial”.
“Es importante poner en contexto los casos de violencia institucional porque eso hace que ese caso particular hable también por los otros casos, por los demás, porque si uno busca siempre hubo otros casos, por eso hablamos de un patrón” sostuvo María Eugenia Ludueña, periodista y escritora.
Por último Rosa Bru, madre de Miguel agradeció a los compañeros de La Bru, a las demás madres, a la Facultad y a los presentes por acompañarla año a año y destacó que “no llegamos a la verdad gracias a la justicia sino gracias al acompañamiento”, recordando que la lucha siempre, es colectiva.
