“Terminamos un año y empezamos otros enfrascados en una nueva búsqueda…..Seguimos preguntando ¿Dónde está Miguel?, como cada día desde hace 17 años, y su familia y sus amigos no bajamos los brazos. Tenemos expectativas que esta búsqueda sea la última, que este dato sea el verdadero, que se acabe esta angustia y esta agonía interminable”, dijo Rosa Bru, mamá de Miguel Bru, al conocer los resultados negativos sobre los restos óseos hallados en el marco del rastrillaje que se realiza en Berisso desde el 20 de diciembre.
Esta búsqueda se suma a los casi 40 rastrillajes realizados durante estos años para encontrar a Miguel, secuestrado, torturado, asesinado y desaparecido por policías de la Comisaría Novena de La Plata el 17/8/93.
Los resultados de los análisis realizados sobre los huesos hallados el martes 28 de diciembre barrieron una vez más con las esperanzas de Rosa y Néstor Bru, al concluir que eran de animales. El miércoles se encontraron 20 elementos óseos, de los cuales dos podrían ser humanos, indicó el fiscal Fernando Cartasegna. Mientras, la familia y amigos de Miguel esperan que el lunes esté dispuesta una máquina de talar que prestará la Municipalidad de Berisso, para retomar el rastrillaje ese día. Sino fuera así, la búsqueda podría retomarse el 10 de enero.
La búsqueda de Miguel Bru, a cargo de Cartasegna y la forense Mercedes Lojo, se realiza en un cañaveral en las calles 13 C y 170, en Berisso. Esta semana se amplió sector del rastrillaje a otros sectores del lugar. El fiscal explicó que la máquina que prestaría la Municipalidad de Berisso, permitiría talar todo el terreno de forma cuidadosa, preservando la superficie, e incluso remover la tierra a pocos centímetros sin provocar rupturas de lo que pudiera encontrarse. El operativo se retomaría el próximo lunes en caso que ya se disponga de esta máquina, sino recién el 10 de enero debido a las altas temperaturas que dificultan el trabajo de los bomberos de Berisso y Ensenada, a cargo de las tareas.
Desde que comenzó la búsqueda y hasta el martes pasado, se hallaron bajo un metro de tierra restos óseos, que fueron identificados como de procedencia de animal por un paleontólogo y una antropóloga del Museo de Ciencias Naturales de la UNLP. También se encontraron objetos como trozos de tela, un anillo, suela de zapatilla, una sandalia, un portadocumentos, que según Rosa Bru no recuerda que pertenecieran a su hijo.
