Además cuestionaron los testimonios e informes de los peritos de la Asesoría - Andrea Nons y Miguel García Olivera- y el Dr. Miguel Angel Maldonado, perito de parte de la familia. Asimismo desacreditaron los testimonios de los detenidos diciendo que nadie vio nada y que los dos o tres que dijeron haber escuchado los golpes y gritos pueden haberlo oído de la televisión. Insistieron además que no hubo torturas ni físicas ni psicológicas.
El abogado Julio Beley, quien representa a Príncipi, afirmó que su defendido estaba descansando en otro cuarto y nunca pudo haber estado en la celda de contraventores cuando sucedió el crimen.
Por su parte el martes la fiscal Rosalía Sánchez y los abogados de la Asociación Miguel Bru – Ernesto Martín, Pablo Oleaga y Marcelo Ponce Nuñez-pidieron que se condene a prisión perpetua a los imputados. Asimismo consideraron como agravantes de la pena su condición de funcionarios públicos y la simulación de suicidio, entre otros. Mientras que para Antonelli solicitaron cinco años de condena.
