El jueves 22 de noviembre a las 20.30 hs en el Teatro Coliseo Podestá, León Gieco presenta “Memoria y Alas”, en el marco del 10º Aniversario de la Asociación Civil Miguel Bru. Las entradas ya están a la venta y pueden adquirirse en el Teatro (calle 10 e/ 47 y 48) y en Jason Rock (también con descuento para estudiantes- Pza. Italia y 6 e/ 48 y 49).
León Gieco apadrina a la AMB desde su creación, en el año 2002. Con “Memoria y Alas” regresa a la ciudad acompañado por los artistas Francisco “Pancho” Chévez, Alejandro Davio, Demián Frontera y Antonella Seemán en un recital que incluye la proyección de su película Mundo Alas.
Lo recaudado en sus recitales será destinado a sostener el trabajo de la organización en sus sedes de La Plata y en Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.

Mundo Alas es un proyecto artístico musical integrado por artistas con capacidades especiales reunidos por León Gieco. Incluye la película para cine; un dvd, (con versiones para hipoacúsicos y subtitulados en inglés y alemán); un cd; el libro CUENTO CON ALAS (realizado por las psicoterapeutas Patricia Knopf y Silvina Mansilla para a Editorial Lumen, el cual recopila las historias de vida de los artistas que forman parte de Mundo Alas); su edición realizada en CD (audiolibro) con el relato de Silvina Chediek; otra edición LIBRO BRAILLE y 18 Capítulos de la SERIE TELEVISIVA “UNA GIRA DIFERENTE” realizada para Canal Encuentro.
Con Mundo Alas León y los artistas realizaron una gira musical por todo el país y el exterior; y que ya superó las 55 actuaciones.
En esta oportunidad acompañarán a León:
-Francisco “Pancho” Chévez, cantante y armoniquista, quien tocó con Los Piojos, Bersuit y Las Pelotas. Es amigo de León Gieco desde hace más de 15 años. Nació sin extremidades superiores ni inferiores y vive en el Hogar San Roque de Capitán Bermúdez, provincia de Santa Fe.
-Alejandro Davio, editó el disco Guardianes del Océano, y ya tiene lista su segunda placa. Nació con hidrocefalia congénita y fue sometido a 17 operaciones en el Hospital Garrahan. Durante sus internaciones, participó primero como alumno y luego como profesor en los talleres de musicoterapia. Allí conoció a León Gieco que se enamoró de sus melodías y desde entonces suelen componer en conjunto.
-Demián Frontera, integrante del Grupo ALMA que promueve el Proyecto de Danza Integradora. Ha realizado decenas de presentaciones en la Argentina y el exterior. Su actual partenaire es Maria Laura Vicenti, tambien integrante de Mundo Alas. A los 14 años, durante un entrenamiento en gimnasia deportiva, sufrió un accidente por el cual tuvo una lesión medular y debió permanecer en silla de ruedas hasta el día de hoy.
-Antonella Seemán, es becaria de la Asociación de Pintores con la Boca y el Pie. Terminó sus estudios secundarios y además de su participación en Mundo Alas continúa realizando charlas y exhibiciones de pintura en centros culturales y seminarios internacionales. Nació sin los brazos y desde pequeña pertenece a la Asociación de Pintores.
